Join us for a lowkey convo where we will explore how antizionism and antisemitism manifest themselves at colleges and universities. Participants will navigate different ways to confront this hatred and be better prepared to discuss these challenging topics while on campus. Moderated by StandWithUs Interns Aidan New and Hannah Kimball, we will also be joined by Stephanie Margolis from StandWithUs High School to lead us in discussion.

Stephanie Margolis was introduced to StandWithUs through her involvement in BBYO and began her journey with StandWithUs as a high school intern, which launched her into the field of Israel activism and education. In college, Stephanie majored in Hospitality and Tourism Management, as well as Judaic Studies, at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. From her first day on campus, Stephanie joined UMass Student Alliance for Israel and quickly became a leader in the group, later serving as president for two years. Stephanie continued her involvement with StandWithUs throughout college by completing the StandWithUs Emerson Fellowship and going on to be the Campus Liaison in the New England Region. This gave her the platform to teach students on other campuses as well as her own. Stephanie is now in her second year as the StandWithUs New England High School Coordinator and is passionate about education and preparing the next generation of leaders.

Aidan New is a senior at Marblehead High School in Marblehead, Massachusetts and will be attending Emory University in the Fall. Aidan is a class officer, involved in student council, and is a member of his high school’s JSU. He also is a JTI Senior Peer Leadership Fellow, a StandWithUs High School Intern, a Madrich at Temple Emanu-el Marblehead, is involved with the Lappin Foundation and the Teen Antisemitism Task Force, studied abroad at Alexander Muss High School in Israel, and will be a counselor at Camp Tel Noar this summer.

Hannah Kimball is a senior at Gann Academy in Waltham, MA where she is part of the dance company, volleyball team, and is president of the Body Positivity Club. She will be attending Union College next fall. She is a StandWithUs High School Intern and a member of Temple Emanuel in Newton. She volunteers for Gateways: Access to Jewish Education and is involved with Lappin Foundation’s Teen Antisemitism Task Force.
